Greg Kelly speaks with Bronze Star recipient, former Navy Lt. James Zumwalt, about the humanitarian mission to rescue orphans during the Ukraine War.
Zumwalt recently returned from a 3 week trip to Ukraine with the Aerial Recovery Group. The group is a team of battle-tested former U.S. Veterans trying to organize safe passage for the estimated 200,000 orphans in Ukraine. There are reports that thousands of children are unaccounted for and have possibly fallen prey to traffickers taking advantage of the unrest. The core of the group’s mission is to get accountability of the children to prevent human trafficking.
James Zumwalt brings urgent attention to this aspect of the humanitarian crisis happening at the hands of Putin in Eastern Europe. And the Ukraine, focused on driving out the military occupation, is little-equipped to deal with the civilian consequences of war.
This riveting conversation offers a first-hand account of the atrocities on the ground in Ukraine, from a very important perspective.
