Frank “Turtle” Raffaele is a coffee shop owner in Queens, New York. His store was supposed to rest in the economic footprint of Amazon’s infamous HQ2. That was before Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez worked hard to squash the project in her borough, costing the city—and small business owners like Frank—billions of dollars in potential revenue.

Now, as the design for HQ2 is revealed—the company settled on a Northern Virginia location. We air this interview with just one of the many lives impacted by Amazon being forced out of New York by the entrenched left. 

This interview with Mr. Raffaele was recorded just after the announcement that Amazon was leaving New York. But it remains relevant today as so many small business owners lose opportunities due to the politics of some in Washington.
